Difficult Conversations
It is easy to avoid conversations that we feel might be difficult. You may not want to hurt someone’s feelings, you may not be sure how to actually address the concerns you have, or you may even be concerned about angering someone.
When a conversation seems like it will be difficult, it should be had as soon as possible rather than put be put off. Difficult Conversations will teach participants, through role playing, how to navigate even the most daunting conversations. Whether it’s a negative performance review, addressing inappropriate behavior, or delivering bad news. Having these uncomfortable conversations can be hard, but with practice they will seem less intimidating.
As a result, you will have a framework to resolve issues quickly with honesty and kindness.
